The United States government, along with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), will give $7 million to the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) proceeding project to address the secondary effects of Coronavirus disease in Pakistan.
In this view, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Mission Director Julie Koenen, and ADB Country Director Yong Ye take part in a signing ceremony in Islamabad on Thursday.
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will use the money to financially assist the families of Pakistanis.
The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) said that the active Covid-19 cases rose a bit on Thursday to 22,501, as 460 more people tested positive for the virus while 336 people recovered during the last 24 hours.
