The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) sanctioned four urban and road development initiatives with a total cost of Rs3.4467 billion on Thursday. Planning and Development Board Chairman Abdullah Khan Sumbal led the 57th PDWP meeting of the current fiscal year 2021-22, and approved these schemes.
Establishment of an underpass at Samanabad Morr, Multan Road, Lahore at a cost of Rs1,547.086 million, betterment of the Lahore-Jaranwala Road from Saggian Bypass to Begum Kot, Lahore at a cost of Rs740.568 million, are among the issued development schemes. The meeting was attended by all members of the planning and development board, the provincial secretary of the ministries involved, and other senior representatives from the relevant departments.
