CM Wants Strict Implementation of Covid SOP’s

CM Punjab expressed concern on Tuesday about the rise in corona patients and asked the administration to carefully follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to be safe. In a meeting with Health Minister Yasmeen Rashid in his office to discuss safety precautions against a possible fifth Covid wave and success on the health card program, he stressed that in light of the current wave, people should be more cautious.
The CM stated that the New Pakistan National Health Card is a flagship scheme of the government that will provide free treatment worth Rs 1 million to every family. Moreover, under the universal healthcare program, the number of beds has been raised from 10,000 to 30,000, and the number of public and private sector hospitals on the panel has been increased from 43 to 150, he claimed.
He stated and declared that by March of this year, 30 million families and 115 million people would have access to free medical care.
