Islamabad: As the CDA Chairman Captain (r) Muhammad Usman Younis sought fresh faces for his team, so the Federal Government appointed four new members to the board of the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
Separate notifications were issued by the Ministry of Interior after the Cabinet Division approved a summary regarding the appointment of four career officers, three of them from the Inland Revenue Service, to the CDA Board. With immediate effect, Waseem Hayat Bajwa has been notified as Member Planning from the Inland Revenue Service.
The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority was directed by Waseem Bajwa, who is considered a competent officer. The Department of Audit and Accounts has appointed Afnan Alam Khan as Member Planning with immediate effect. Deputy Director of General Estate and Director of Land for CDA, Afnan Alam already held both positions.
The BPS-20 officer Naveed Ilahi, who was Members Estate and Member Planning, had also been a members estate. While serving as DDG Estate and Director Land, he was responsible for resolving the problems of affected residents. Inland Revenue Service officer Syed Mazhar Hussain Shah was also posted as Financial Adviser/Member.
A former occupant of this post, Rana Shakeel Asghar, is currently being repatriated. A BPS-19 officer from the Inland Revenue Service, Muhammad Waqas Hanif, has been notified that he has been appointed as Member Environment.
CDA, which falls under the Ministry of Interior, already has all four officers’ services available. In accordance with Section 6 (1) and (3) of the CDA Ordinance and Section 10 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973, notifications have been issued.
