Peshawar: Abdul Karim Tordher, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Industries, Commerce, and Technical Education, has emphasized the need to expedite the development of Shah Mansoor Township in Swabi. In a meeting held on August 26, Tordher expressed the importance of a comprehensive development strategy to ensure that the township becomes a model of modern urban living.
During a briefing at his office in Peshawar, Tordher met with officials from the Urban Areas Development Authority of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Managing Director Rashid Khan. The discussion focused on the progress of Shah Mansoor Township and plans for its future growth. Tordher emphasized the need for a well-structured master plan that integrates key facilities, such as recreational areas, communication networks, and social amenities, to ensure a high quality of life for the residents.
The Special Assistant reassured the team of his commitment to securing the necessary financial resources to support the township’s development. He also emphasized the significance of establishing commercial zones within the township, which would contribute to the area’s economic vitality. Tordher highlighted that the township’s beautification efforts should be a top priority.
