The amended procedure aims to standardize the tax regime for shop owners in various cities, ensuring uniformity and simplifying the tax collection process. The FBR’s initiative under the Tajir Dost Scheme is expected to improve compliance and ease the financial burden on small business owners by introducing fixed tax rates based on the location and commercial value of the shops.
This move is part of the broader effort to enhance revenue collection and streamline tax procedures across the country. The implementation of these rates will be closely monitored to assess their impact on both the businesses and the tax collection system.
