As Chief Minister of the PTI, Sardar Usman Buzdar said on Monday that one of the top priorities for the PTI is to serve the country’s people. During a consultation at his office, he discussed party affairs and suggestions for local government elections. The meeting was attended by Federal Ministers Shafqat Mahmood and Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar, Minister of State Muhammad Shabbir Ali Qureshi, Punjab Minister for Finance Makhdoom Hashim Jawan Bakht, and others.
According to the chief minister, strong candidates will be selected through consultation, adding that party elections will result in genuine leadership at the grassroots and direct elections will bring about real change in the LGs politics. He also stated that We are working in the form of unity under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the nation has unshakable faith in the leadership of the Prime Minister. In this critical situation, the opposition had not changed its negative attitude, and weakening the country with anarchist politics would harm the nation’s interests. Politicians who believe in anarchy should realize facts as he concluded.
