WASA Has Accelerated it’s Pre-Monsoon Activities in 𝐏𝐔𝐍𝐉𝐀𝐁

The Department of Water and Sanitation  (Wasa) has accelerated pre-monsoon activities, including checking landfills in the state’s metropolitan areas. Muhammad Tanveer, the chief executive officer of the agency, visited several landfills here on Thursday at the behest of the Chief Secretary.  Wasa DMD Ghufran Ahmed, Maintenance Director  Sheikh Akram, Deputy Director Haseeb Ahmed, and Deputy Director Sameera Iftikhar also attended during the visit. Muhammad Tanveer said the repository played an important role in the efficient drainage of monsoon rainwater. He instructed all directors to make the sewage treatment plant and disposal site fully functional. Prior to the monsoon,  Wasa MD said all disposal sites were in full operation, revealing that negligence was unacceptable.
