A total of Rs7.3 million will be allocated for the treatment of nine deserving patients suffering from different diseases on Thursday by Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar. Specifically, Rs3 million was granted to Saher Fatima of Lahore for her bone marrow treatment, and Rs3.6 lakh to Aftab Hussain of Sheikhupura for liver treatment. The treatment for Aas Muhammad of Sheikhupura will cost Rs0.5 million, the treatment for Abdul Samad Khan of Kamoki tehsil in Gujranwala will cost Rs7.5 lakh, the treatment for Muhammad Afzal Tarar of Wazirabad will cost Rs2.40 lakh, the treatment for Uzma Iqbal of Khushab will cost Rs736,500, and the treatment for Uzma Iqbal of Khushab will cost Rs1,042,500.
Sardar Hasnain Bahadur Dareshak, provincial minister for livestock, met with a delegation of the National Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (NIBGE) in the conference room of the new ministerial block. While speaking with the delegation, Provincial Minister for Livestock Sardar Hasnain Bahadur Dareshak said there were opportunities for cooperation in the area of vaccine production, feed testing, and genomic technology. In order to increase meat and milk production, both institutions need to work together. Naveed Haider Shirazi, Additional and Deputy Secretaries, as well as other officers, attended the meeting.
