Vice-Chairman Islamabad Hamza Shafqat said in front of the Senate Standing Committee on Monday that the government was unable to regain ownership of 28,000 acres of land that had been illegally and unfavorably occupied. 28,000 acres of land was owned/acquired, but the government was unable to own it for a variety of reasons. Parliamentarians are working on the development of this land with funding from the SDGs, said Islamabad at a meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Housing Construction, chaired by Senator Haji Hidayatullah Khan. The Commission discussed development work issues and the provision of facilities for illegal prisoners in Sector G14 / 1 Islamabad.
