The Capital Development Authority (CDA) plans to purchase 29 New buses for use on three separate routes around the federal capital. The new bus system will run on various routes, from Soan Garden to the Faisal Mosque, from Bhara Kahu to the Faiz Ahmed Faiz metro bus station, and from Tarnol railway station to the M5 metro station.
According to a Master Plan Commission policy, public bus service PC-I has already been authorized, and tender documents are currently being processed after which the CDA will purchase new buses. According to a CDA official, the Islamabad Metro Bus project, which would connect Peshawar Morr with the New Islamabad International Airport, will be inaugurated soon.
