LAHORE: In response to the issues raised by the visitors, Director General Aamir Ahmad Khan of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) issued orders on the spot.
He stressed the importance of solving the problems of LDA’s citizens as soon as possible. In the case of negligent officers, I will take strict action against them.
A citizen’s legitimate work should not be delayed by LDA,” he warned, and he instructed his officers to resolve the problems as quickly as possible for the sake of the Authority’s reputation.
The Director of One Window Cell had been ordered to monitor the issues of citizens himself, and to make a timeline to improve the performance of the cell. Senior citizens and women received special facilities at One Window Cell.
Directors should listen once a week to citizen concerns and monitor application processes themselves, he added. Citizens should be treated with good manners and shouldn’t be objected to unnecessarily by police officers and employees.
