Green Light for Modernisation Era of Expo Centre at Gulberg Greens

An innovative Expo Centre will be constructed in Gulberg Greens, according to an agreement that was put between the Intelligence Bureau Employees Cooperative Housing Society (IBECHS) and the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI).

During a visit to the Gulberg Greens headquarters, a delegation from the International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), led by its President Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, was able to reach an agreement. On Sunday, the International Cricket Council (ICCI) issued a press statement on the announcement.

The purpose of the collaboration is to make a contribution to the growth of the nation, to encourage exports, and to make social and cultural events easier to organize. In his address to the audience, the President of the ICCI emphasized that the Chamber is prepared to work together with the IBECHS on collaborative initiatives that are aimed at attracting foreign investment.

Even though Islamabad is an important center for diplomatic relations, administration, parliament, and commerce, he brought attention to the fact that the city does not have a prominent Expo Centre at the moment. He underlined that the relationship between ICCI and Gulberg Greens will fill this need, which would be a big step towards the improvement of the economy.

The Expo Centre that is being proposed would serve as a permanent platform for showcasing Pakistan’s exportable items, which would ultimately lead to an increase in exports. He expressed hope about comparable benefits for Pakistan through the Expo Centre, drawing parallels with other nations such as China and Turkey, where expos have led to increased exports and tourism. He said that with the Expo Centre, Pakistan might achieve similar results.

During his meeting with the ICCI delegation, Tariq Mehmood, President of IBECHS, gave the assurance that Gulberg Greens is committed to working together for the growth of the nation, particularly in the realm of commercial activities.
