PCBDD Continues at the Development of Urban Infrastructure

According to a source who spoke to the media on April 1, this initiative of the Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDD) is making significant progress in important projects such as the Walton Road Upgradation and the Walton Railway Crossing Flyovers initiatives.

As per the information provided, Chief Executive Officer Imran Amin recently presided over a comprehensive review meeting, during which he reaffirmed the authority’s commitment to urban evolution that is both timely and meaningful. Imran Amin, the Chief Executive Officer, was provided with an update on the substantial developments that have taken place in the Walton Road Upgradation and Walton Railway Crossing Flyovers projects during the session.

During the review session, important accomplishments were brought to light. All six piers and two abutment walls of the big Ishaq Shaheed Flyover have been finished. Shuttering and steel fixing are now happening, and concrete pouring is still going on. This project is part of the Walton Road Upgradation. It’s also worth mentioning that work on remodeling ADA Nullah has begun, with 70% of the steel fixings finished and roadworks having begun.

In the course of the examination, significant accomplishments were recognized. As part of the Walton Road Upgradation, all six piers and two abutment walls of the renowned Ishaq Shaheed Flyover have been finished. Additionally, work is currently being done on shuttering and steel fixing, both of which are extremely important components.

Equally significant is the progress that has been made on the renovation of ADA Nullah, with seventy percent of the steel fixing having been completed and roadworks having begun. In addition, great progress has been made in the construction of the Walton Railway Crossing Flyovers. The asphalt has been placed up to the MSC wall slope, and the girders for one section have been finished.
