Prime Minister Imran Khan called for the character formation of the younger generation on Thursday, emphasizing that changes to morals and ethics will help the country emerge as a powerful figure in the world. On Thursday, the prime minister spoke at a ceremony to inaugurate the Rahmatul Lil Alameen Authority, a body that will ensure human rights and socio-economic standards. At the ceremony, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of character formation for the younger generation, saying that morally strong societies never allow powers and elites to plunder public funds through corruption.
The Prophet (PBUH) preached the Charter of Human Rights in his last sermon, focusing on the rights and responsibilities of individuals. In order to prevent the spread of misconceptions about Islam, he hoped the Rehmatul Lil Alameen Authority would promote research on Seeratun Nabi. According to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision, the Rehmatul Lil Alameen Authority was established last year in accordance with Islam’s first socio-welfare state of Medina. An additional objective of the authority was to raise global awareness of Islamophobia and to take practical measures in this regard.
Imran complained that cases of rape and child abuse were increasing in the country while the victim’s family hesitated to report it. He emphasized the need to involve different sectors of society to unite against sex crimes by promoting a culture of ethics and morality. Prime Minister said the Ethers program, equipped with a National Health Insurance Card, emergency shelter, and soup kitchen, is the best step towards achieving the goals of the welfare state.
