LAHORE: Amir Jan, Commissioner Lahore, has asked the LDA to accelerate the development of its projects at various locations in the City in order to maximize convenience for citizens without compromising on quality.
This was said by Commissioner Lahore during a visit to the office of LDA Johar Town on Thursday. His visit included a briefing on LDA’s ongoing development projects by the DG, Aamir Ahmad Khan.
Aside from being a dark spot on the face of the city, illegal constructions also contributed to chaotic traffic, Mr. Lahore said during the meeting.
The governor said that any construction that is illegal or unauthorised should be discouraged at every level, and that indiscriminate action should be taken against those who violate the laws. To prevent illegal constructions, all approved maps and building bylaws must be implemented, he said.
Additionally, Commissioner Lahore visited the LDA’s One Window Cell, where the DG LDA informed him that work was being conducted to simplify the One Window Cell procedure even further. Furthermore, he listened to citizens’ problems and instructed them on the spot on how to solve them.
