LAHORE: Punjab governor Balighur Rehman acknowledged the importance of retail in the country’s economy, saying logistics, banking, real estate, education, printing, packaging, and many other businesses relied on it.
It is admirable that the retail sector employs about 14% of the nation’s workforce, he said at the “Second Pakistan Future of Retail Business Summit and Expo 2022” on Wednesday.
Due to the government’s unwavering efforts, the economy has begun to improve. Even with multiple challenges on the economic front, the government is making all-out efforts to strengthen the economy.
CEOs and business owners from the retail sector, including Pakistani and international business experts, discussed ways to make a Pakistani brand successful and globally competitive.
