Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Capital Development Authority (CDA) Affairs Ali Nawaz has announced the construction of the Bhara Kahu Bypass that was long-awaited. It is anticipated that proper development work will begin on this project in November 2021.
The decision has been made due to heavy traffic jams that are becoming routine in Bhara Kahu area Murree Road. He disclosed that the project will be completed in two years. The total length of the Bhara Kahu Bypass will be 3.5 KM. He added that a special consultant was hired for this project and the design of the flyover has been finalized.
When tourists travel towards Murree and Kashmir on weekends, there is a heavy traffic jam on this road. Locals and tourists alike are inconvenienced due to the traffic jam. By completing this bypass, hundreds and thousands of vehicles will have an alternative route, and traffic jams will be reduced.
