In Islamabad, The Capital Development Authority canceled the allocation of land for the Hindu temple. Javed Iqbal the Civic body Lawyer make Islamabad High Court aware of the allotment of the land on Monday. This was canceled after the construction was banned in green areas of the capital of new buildings. Facilitating the Minority community firstly CDA allocated the Land for the construction of the Hindu Temple in the H-9/2 sector. Cremation grounds were to be constructed at the site and the community in the center.
This site was allotted to the Hindu community for constructing their Temple, Shamshan ghat, and the community center, and this was informed by the CDA planning director. He also said that in July last year the process of plot allotment began in 2016 in the H-9/2 sector. He also justify that this plot was allotted by the permission granted by the consultation with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the administration of Islamabad.
In 2017 3.89 Kanal area was allocated and given to Hindu panchayat in 2018 the CDA had appraised the bench. Krishan Sharma member of the Human Rights Commission said that the Hindu community in Islamabad is more than three thousand but yet they have no proper land on which they can celebrate their events like Holi, Diwali, weddings, or funerals.
