A two-day international conference on “Pak-China Economic Corridor and Formation of Different Narratives” is being organized by the Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue, an authorized affiliate of the International Islamic University Islamabad. The experts will speak at the conference on various aspects of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor’s (CPEC) regional and global implications in several sessions.
IRD Executive Director Dr. Hassan Al-Amin highlighted the conference’s aims and outcomes, saying that CPEC is a significant project aimed at connecting China’s western region to the southern Arabian Sea. Many energy, infrastructure, railroad, and other industry sub-projects are currently being implemented, and CPEC has reached its second phase, he stated. Many perceptions regarding CPEC were proliferating in Pakistan, including China, according to Dr. Hassan.
