LDA DG Reviews Sagian Road Project Progress

Lahore: In a recent media interview, LDA DG Muhammad Ali Randhawa reported to a news source that he visited the Sagian Road Project on Wednesday to review its ongoing development work.

At one point, the LDA’s director general said that this project was crucial to connecting the city’s entrances and exits, and it was a state-of-the-art project.

During the meeting, LDA Chief Engineer Mazhar Hussain Khan informed the LDA Director-General about the ongoing Sagian project, which cost around Rs.3.40 billion. As of now, work has begun on both sides of the 4.4-kilometre road between Ravi Bridge and Phool Mandi Chowk.

As part of the reconstruction of the Phool Mandi Chowk to Sheikhupura Road, 1.2 kilometers as well as the 3.1 kilometers to Faizpur Interchange Road were also being constructed.

In addition, once this project is completed, the city’s traffic patterns will improve and the city’s sewerage problems will be resolved. A report revealed that 55% of these projects’ development work has already been completed.
