LAHORE: A sale of 13 commercial and residential plots was held by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Wednesday. The LDA earned over 140 million from the auction of these plots, according to officials.
Here are the details of auctioned plots.
- The Vegetable Market Iqbal Town commercial plot No. 13 sold for more than Rs11 million during the auction.
- Vegetable Market Iqbal Town’s commercial plot no. 14 was auctioned for more than Rs130 million.
- More than Rs10 million was raised at the auction of plot number 16 at Vegetable Market Iqbal Town.
- A commercial plot of the packages area, plot 203 Block B, was auctioned for over 10 million rupees.
- There was an auction for a commercial plot in Quaid-e-Azam Town Sector D. The plot fetched Rs8,340,000 at the auction in Sector D.
- The commercial plot at Plot No. 43B, H One in Johar Town has been auctioned for over ten million rupees.
- The auction of plot No. 43 H One, Johar Town commercial plot, generated over Rs10 million.
- During the auction of H1 Johar Town plot no. 44B, the price was Rs 9,671,000.
- A residential plot of Sabzazar, plot No. 237 F, was auctioned off.
Auctions also took place in Iqbal Town, Packages Area, Quaid-e-Azam Town, Tajpura, Johar Town, Sabzazar and Gujarpura.
All Housing Directorate Directors, the Executive Director of DG Headquarters, and other appropriate officers supervised the public auction. During the public auction, the conditions were announced. The auction process was actively participated in by citizens.
Upon holding an auction, LDA has the right to approve or disapprove any bid and share the status of the bid within 60 days. Further, the winner of the bid will be required to pay one-third of the plot’s total payment within seven days following the auction. The remaining amount is due 30 days after the auction.
