Islamabad: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal said the CPEC projects would remain within the jurisdiction of the concerned ministries, while the Planning Ministry would take on the role of facilitation between all stakeholders involved.
CPEC projects must be better owned by both countries by focusing on the working relationships between them, according to Ahsan Iqbal. During a visit to CPEC’s Authority Secretariat, the Executive Director of CPEC briefed him on the projects of several projects.
CPEC, according to the minister, has an immense impact on Pakistan, making Gwadar a central point in the project. As well, CPEC is expected to grow slowly at Gwadar after Eid-ul-Fitr as he plans to visit the city to review the project.
As part of his visit to Gwadar, the Minister will inaugurate the Solar Power Generation Project launched by Chinese Companies to provide electricity to homes in the city.
