MPs to be provided with complete family suites by CDA

CDA

Islamabad: Zahid Akram Durrani, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, has directed that the additional 104 family suites and 500 servant quarters of Parliament Lodges be completed as soon as possible.

The director of National Assembly (NA) Capital Development Authority (CDA) Tahir Mahmood briefed the deputy speaker about the construction work on additional suites and servant quarters in Parliament Lodges.

The deputy speaker was dismayed by the delay in completing the project, which had been started in 2011 and would have been completed in 2013 but had not been completed. In fact, the cost of the project has increased substantially since then.
