Islamabad, The National Coordination Committee on Housing Construction and Development held its 109th meeting in Islamabad.
The meeting was called by Chairman Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority (NAPHDA) Lieutenant General Anwar Ali Hyder, take part in by officials from the Ministries of Housing and Works, Finance, Law and Jus-tice, Chief Secretary’s offices Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, FBR, CDA, Planning, Development & Special Initiative, and Deputy Chairman NAPHDA Major General Amer Aslam khan, HI(M), T Bt (Retd) among other representatives.
The National Coordination Committee inspects the progress of different housing and construction-related inventiveness in all the provinces. Matters relating to project approval arrangement, master plan, and land/construction matters were talked through in its 109th meeting.
The Progress of the committee represents dealing with illegal/unapproved housing schemes/societies involving third-party interest was also purposeful.
Program items also included discussion on Draft Policy by Chief Secretary Punjab to address the issue of changing
of the following categories of lands into built-up areas: Agriculture land/green areas, Shamilat land and State-owned
lands (Parks, nullahs, public community areas). Update on computerize of Cadastral Record of Lahore and all State
Lands were also given and in the meeting.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan had inaugurated the National Coordination Committee on Housing, Construction, and Development to arrange and facilitate the government’s policy to promote the construction and development-related schemes, mainly affordable housing projects for the low-income Peoples of the society as expect in the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme.
